About Me...


I recently heard that you can tell a lot
about a person by the quality of their friendships.
My life is very rich today. I’ll even say blessed.
When I have time for myself,
which seem less and less these days,
I do everything I can to make the best of each moment.
You never know what tomorrow might bring.
And I may only have today.

I'm 5'11", 190 lbs.,
dirty blond w/ hazel eyes.
I am not the gym bunny type
(nor am I looking for one), but
I do look after myself.
I'm neg and STD free.

I'm currently single.
That's OK for the most part, but
it would be nice to share my life with
someone special.
Don't let this throw you, but
I do want to have kids some day.
I just needed to put that out there.

What's really important is being honest
and upfront with the guys I meet.
You never know where things might lead.

I'm always looking for new and exciting things to do.
I've ridden a bicycle from SF to LA a few times,
and once in Alaska from Fairbanks to Anchorage.
I've crewed on AIDS Lifecycle several
times since and plan on doing so again.
These bike rides are fundraising
events that have raised Millions to support
my local HIV/AIDS community.

I started running a few years ago and
have completed two marathons so far.
My first marathon was in December 2002
in Honolulu. It was part of the
AIDS Marathon Training Program
and raised money for the
SF AIDS Foundation.
My next was the NYC Marathon in
November 2003 and I took an hour off my time.
(It’s difficult to believe that was a few
years ago.  Time sure does fly.)

I've done a little cross country skiing,
snowshoeing, and love to hike.
I've been white water rafting
several times and loved that, too.
Bottom line, I really enjoy being outdoors.

I can lose hours hanging out with friends
talking about what's really going on.
Not about the world so much, but
what's going on inside our heads.
Not too much hanging out though because
I don't want life passing me by.

The last few years have been huge
growing years for me, mentally, physically,
and spiritually.  I have some great friends
who have helped me look at myself through
their eyes.  Because of their support
I made a huge career change a couple
of years ago and haven't look back.

I love going to the movies and
staying in for a good one, too.
My Netflix queue is jam packed.
Dining out is great, but nothing
beats a good home cooked meal.
Especially if you're sharing
it with someone special.

I don't drink or do drugs.
I don't hang out in bars or clubs.
There is way too much going on
out there to be partying
your life away.
